We are excited to announce our new partnership with Agfunder, a Singapore-based agtech fund that strongly aligns with Bluemethane’s mission to reduce emissions from the agriculture sector. Their extensive portfolio includes fast growing ventures like Brightseed and MycoWorks. Bluemethane is part of a cohort of eight AgriFoodTech startups for Agfunder’s GROW Impact Accelerator.
Agfunder’s mission is to invest in bold and impactful technologies rapidly transforming food and agriculture systems. We are thrilled to partner with a fund that values companies working to decarbonise the agriculture sector. Bluemethane plays an important role in this mission by reducing emissions from water sources. These include rice cultivation, dairy and agricultural wastewater, and food and drinks processing.
Chosen from over 300 applicants, Bluemethane’s participation in the Agfunder GROW accelerator demonstrates increasing awareness of methane as a potent greenhouse gas. It is exciting that methane mitigation is rising to the top in an area where awareness has been low.
