Demo Day for Shell‘s #StartUpEngine, was held at the London Stock Exchange. Bluemethane was one of 12 cleantech startups pitching to a room full of investors and corporates. It was a triumphant event – the finale to a brilliant accelerator programme.
This programme has been special special. Once selected, all startups outlined their needs. And then Shell mentors spent six months working with, alongside, pulling their colleagues in and out, to meet these needs. Complete tailoring.
It has been a journey that surpassed all expectations. Adam Forbes, Zoe Heed and John Raine were always supporting, pushing, helping. And Bluemethane had the good fortune with Nicole Everett as our mentor. What we didn’t expect is for demo day to be the start of a longer partnership with Shell, long after the programme is officially over.
Other mentors who have helped raise our Bluemethane technical and commercial standards include Susannah Stott, Elise Shui, Mehran Fard, Shala K. Hosein, Matthew Sherburne, Georg Stockinger, Georgia Wiseman, Reinhard Klimeck. Thank you all so much.
