In September we welcomed Oriol Bel Laveda to the Bluemethane team as our Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Engineer.
Oriol has joined Bluemethane for the second time in six months! After an initial collaboration to evaluate the impact of turbomachinery on greenhouse gas separation from water for his thesis, he is now our CFD Engineer. Oriol is focused on enhancing Bluemethane’s technology through iterative simulations, with the goal of implementing digital twins to our technology. His responsibilities extend to computational modelling, machinery CAD design, and ensuring the structural integrity of prototypes. Outside of work, Oriol spends most of his free time doing sport. His favourite has always been football (he’s a big FC Barcelona fan) but has now retired and is focused more on jogging around the city, going to the gym, or even playing paddle tennis!
“One thing that has surprised me the most about working at Bluemethane is how fluid the communication is within our team.” – Oriol
Welcome onboard Oriol!
