We’re jumping up and down with excitement that Bluemethane has been awarded the MIT grant for feasibility studies from SNN, Subsidie Noord Nederland.
With this grant (different to the last one!), we will be engaging world renowned hydropower experts and laboratories to evaluate and pressure test our technology and financial modelling. By working with leading industry experts, we will continue to drive forward our mission to stop 30 million tonnes of CO2 emissions being released from hydropower dams and reservoirs around the world by 2030.
Bluemethane will use these captured methane emissions to unlock a new source of energy from clean hydropower and help ensure hydropower’s position as the cornerstone of the energy transition.
