At WEFTEC 2023 in Chicago, Bluemethane attended with the Imagine H2O cohort to highlight innovative solutions for sustainability in the wastewater sector.
The Water Environment Federation’s Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) 2023, in Chicago from October 1st to 4th, was a beacon of innovation and inspiration. At the forefront of this important event were dedicated academics and operators determined to raise awareness, measure, monitor, and share best practices for sustainability within the water sector.
Bluemethane’s Louise and Nestor were stationed in the Innovation Pavilion alongside the Imagine H2O cohort, an exciting experience as this was Bluemethane’s first exhibition stand. This was a unique opportunity for market research, to engage with industry leaders and gain a deeper understanding of the wastewater landscape in the United States and beyond. One standout takeaway was, despite the absence of regulation on methane emissions from wastewater in the United States, there are strong financial and corporate drivers for measuring and reducing process emissions. Good news for Bluemethane.
Louise played an active role at Imagine H2O’s CrocTank: Water Solutions for a Sustainable Future, and at the BlueTech Research & Imagine H2O Innovation Forum. We are hugely grateful to Imagine H2O for this opportunity and their invaluable support. They play a pivotal role in establishing water-related connections, orchestrating impactful events, enabling meaningful introductions, and have stood by our side every step of the way.
