From UK water companies with conventional digesters or thermal hydrolysis sites, from the Isle of Wight to Milton Keynes, the methane-in-liquids problem is everywhere, and Bluemethane is building the infrastructure, the partnerships, and the evidence base to solve it at scale. This is what the next chapter looks like.

The water sector was the starting point because it is where the problem is largest, the regulation is clearest, and the case for action is most urgent. Eight of the eleven UK water companies are already working with Bluemethane. Emily is taking orders. Chloe is commercially ready. But the methane-in-liquids problem does not stop at the boundary of a water company’s bioresources estate. It exists wherever organic matter breaks down in liquid. This is in agricultural digesters, food and drink waste processing, dairy, landfill leachate. Bluemethane’s technology is modular and repeatable. The copy-and-paste model, with standard designs, standard connections, each new site faster and lower-risk than the last, is how a solution that currently serves eight water companies becomes a solution that serves an industry. That work has begun.
