We are looking for a bright engineering and economics intern to work on a paid 6 to 8 week interneship with Bluemethane and our customers on what can be done with the harvested methane from water.
Summer internship. Engineering and economics. Remote.
Reducing methane emissions from reservoirs and wastewater could be one of the most powerful instruments to slow global warming. Globally, 51 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases are released into the atmosphere from human activity every year. Three billion tonnes are from methane escaping from water. No scalable solution exists to remove methane from water – until now.
Bluemethane is developing technology to measure, capture and utilise methane from water. This will permanently remove methane from water, reduce global warming and support the energy transition by unlocking a new source of energy. Bluemethane will start with hydropower plants and wastewater treatment, and ultimately, natural bodies of water. Bluemethane’s mission is to capture a billion tonnes of CO2e from water.
Remote.
