We are excited to have secured funding from the Global Methane Hub to introduce a global methane observation network for hydropower reservoirs, to better understand and reduce methane emissions, in partnership with the International Hydropower Association and Université du Québec à Montréal. We will be offering a complimentary hydropower methane measuring service to 20 lucky reservoirs.
The grant is to fund the groundbreaking global hydropower methane emissions observation network, a partnership with IHA and UQAM. This first of its kind project will deepen our understanding of methane emissions from hydropower reservoirs across the globe. By enhancing existing datasets and models, we will uncover critical insights into the patterns and drivers of methane accumulation and release within these reservoirs. This will identify optimal locations to deploy our innovative methane recovery technology, designed to harness methane for clean energy production.
We are offering this complimentary methane measuring service to twenty hydropower reservoir owners across the world. Perfect for industry leaders and hydropower operators seeking to improve their emissions reporting and mitigation, this service will empower organisations to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, meet corporate emissions targets, generate a new green energy source, produce carbon revenue and access competitive financing.
Help us turn emissions into assets and advance environmental leadership.
