After a competitive selection process, Bluemethane is joining the United Utilities Innovation Lab, an exciting collaborative programme focused on accelerating groundbreaking solutions within a live wastewater environment, and a pivotal moment in our journey towards commercialisation.
United Utilities Innovation Lab is a 14-week programme offering access to the resources, processes, data and expertise housed within United Utilities, one of the United Kingdom’s foremost water companies. Bluemethane is one of six companies selected from a pool of 136 applicants for this programme.
This partnership represents an invaluable opportunity for Bluemethane to work hand-in-hand with a key player in the UK water industry. By doing so, we will gain a profound understanding of the unique challenges and needs of water companies, allowing us to refine and develop our technology in response.
The prospect of this collaboration is nothing short of thrilling. It holds the potential to reduce process emissions from wastewater treatment whilst also creating value from the captured methane.
