Bluemethane announce partnership with Shema Power Lake Kivu

We are thrilled to be teaming up with Shema Power Lake Kivu (SPLK) to test our methane capture technology.

Lake Kivu in Rwanda has extraordinarily high levels of methane. Energy companies like SPLK use technology to extract high concentrations of methane from Lake Kivu for electricity, increasing clean energy generation and access for Rwanda.

At Bluemethane, we are developing technology to harvest methane from water that can be deployed at all levels of methane concentrations – like reservoirs, wastewater and melting permafrost.  There are no other solutions available to capture methane from water at low concentrations.

This is the best place in the world to be testing our technology and learning from the experts. It is a privilege to collaborate with such an experienced team.
